Barbe Beaty, LMT, naturotherapist
MASSAGE therapy & NaturotheraPy | Natural (Nature’s) Medicine
Born into a black family of intuitives, diviners, and healers, adopted at age three by a white family, having moved from pavement to pastures, I was blessed with a childhood of making mud pies, collecting gifts of nature (stones, rocks, feathers, weathered wood, dried pods), exploring & experimenting with the elements, rescuing wildlife, delighting in the smell of my Mom’s homemade bread, to unknowing, yet innately practicing the natural healing arts, the roots of my being, as a way of life.
My journey has been one of forgetting, forgiving, rediscovering, and remembering what I’ve always known deep within my bones. That throughout my human experience, intuitively walking in Spirit, embracing ancestral wisdom, and awakening to the elemental wisdom within and without, will always guide me back home to the true nature of my being.
I nurture my natural rhythm through regular communion with Spirit to keep clear my intuitive path, compassion, courage, and creative flow to remind me of the abundance of choices in everyday moments.
I am a homebody and love spending time with my little family, on our five acre woodland homestead, in our cozy 4600 square foot, 19th century converted barn home, complete with floating levels, original barn wood floors and beams, and woodburning stone fireplaces.
Coming full circle to embracing my ancestry, rooted in the natural healing traditions of the African way of walking on the Earth, I strive to bridge the past, present, and future, supporting others in realizing and remembering the true nature of their being, so that they may bring the gift of who they are in alignment with what the world needs; connecting on a deeper level with oneself, elements (within/without), and ancestral guidance, intuitive wisdom, as well as other humans who are experiencing life alongside us.
